Salvus was formed when three industry contacts pooled their experience in complex operations. The aim was to provide bespoke advice and consultancy around the use of UAS in the UK regulatory environment, and particularly where there may be 'complex' operations required.
Complexity arises when both the Open category and standard Pre-Defined Risk Assessments (PDRA) in the Specific category are insufficient to meet an objective. At this point operators have the option of making a Specific Operating Risk Assessment (SORA) application.
